Living On The Edge is the first memoir of a 22 year old college student who suffered from physical and mental abuse in her early age and was deprived of her mother's love at an early age. She migrated to America for a better education and to pursue the American dream. Her life in America started with a lot of challenges due to language and cultural barriers. Despite these challenges, Boye has been able to attain a B. A in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in education. Her purpose for telling her story is to inspire other women, students, immigrants who are facing cultural issues, language barriers, relationships, gender, abuse, and lack of self confidence.
