Forget-me-not, American Crow is a collection of poetry divided into sections of love, heartbreak/unrequitedly love, mental disorder symptoms and poems to lift the spirit. Poems are written metaphorically to nature, places and inanimate objects to portray raw and sometimes far-fetched emotions that any one of us could feel when it comes to love, passion, abandonment and heartbreak. But those of us who are dealing with mental illnesses/disorders (borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder, etc.) may feel a few of these poems a little harder, a little stronger and may feel them for a little longer.
