FIRES, FLOODS, GIRLS, THIEVES, SECRET CANDY HOLES, BASEBALL, FOOTBALL, VIDEO GAMES; all are apart of this story. Based on true events, a comical adventure of two 12 year old boys that happened over the summer of 1982 when they built a 9 room wood fort that towered over 15 feet tall and withstood wind storms and high school pranksters. Through their adventures they bonded during the construction of an epic fort. They also enjoyed football, video games, fishing and swimming pool escapades along the way. By the end of the summer, they discover girls are actually pretty cool. It was written to encourage activity and stimulate the imagination to seek a world beyond smartphones and gaming.
