This book shares the life experience of a young man, Obiajulu who was born in south eastern Nigeria and had so many dreams and ambitions to life and would be said to have been delivered into a decent background. He was rather believing and dependent that life was where everyone was good and at your beck and call at all times. Until when his growth was accompanied with an experience that would rather take him far away from what he had thought and believed. He began to grow with so many ignoble and painful experiences that left him mute and resentful. Watching his mother everyday receive insults and many abuses from both his father and outsiders was one of his most heart breaking experience. He was resolute to succeed and take his mother away from the awry situations she was forced to see due to their present condition. He woke up to a day that would seem to change the course of his fate. Little did he know that what the day had for him was what he would quickly rebuff if it had been ever predicted.
