For years, twins Ronan and Lance have been searching for the bandits who killed their mother in an ambush. As they hunt down criminals, looking for any clue that may lead them to the killer, they come across an army building at the edge of the kingdom. They discover that villages nearby have been destroyed; the strong and healthy taken and forced to work for the forming army. With the finding of a survivor and information, the twins set out to warn the king of the coming danger. Amidst the ensuing struggle old wounds are reopened, secrets brought out, a deadly wound delivered, and forbidden relationship formed.
