The book is intended to be an easy-to-read for young readers Grades 2 - 4, and a read-aloud by parents for kids Preschool - Grade 1. A young kid, sweet, cute, happy, bubbly, and full of life. A big task, daunting, intimidating, scary, ... impossible. Will she be able to do it? Will she bear the burden on her young shoulders? Or will she succumb to it? Will the danger that is staring at the face of the family, get mitigated?Most children are easily scared unlike most adults, or at least like they are lead to believe. But children also are resilient, determined, focused when there is a need, ever ready to raise up to the occasion. This is a story of one such child. She is faced with a near-impossible job, saving her mother from the jaws of trouble and evil. All she has is some recollection of what her mother has mentioned a while back, the love of her parents and her persistence. Through this story, the little girl, five years of age, helps other children, readers of her story, build confidence and overcome fear - fear of failure, fear of the unknown, and fear of reading. There is some mystery, there is some magic, there is a fairy, there is relentlessness, there is fear, there are tears, there are hugs, kisses, and lots of love. The story helps the child and the parents bond over reading. Early reading and developing the love of reading at a young age helps not only develop an extensive vocabulary, increased attention spans, and healthy social, emotional development; it also helps in opening the floodgates of imagination, critical thinking while helping the child learn and derive life lessons from the books they read.
