When God is content with a believer, He will make him content with himself and his life. This will give the believer a prosperous life, with peace of heart and mind. The believer seeks such a path to contentment through God's Holy Quran and the traditions of His messenger, peace be upon him. This book relies on these two sources for giving guidance to the path that leads to contentment. The first approach is through the love among believers and God. Such love will cause the believer to perform the actions that God loves, and avoid the actions that God does not love. With this mutual love between believers and God, believers will put all their trust in God, trusting His infinite wisdom and mercy, and accepting His will. They will be patient and persevering during the trials of life, and hope for God's support, guidance, and forgiveness. Sincere believers will always acknowledge and be thankful for God's limitless grace which brings blessings and contentment to them. Other virtues that will bring God's contentment upon believers are those of being forbearing, forgiving and pardoning, and Islam encourages believers to repel evil with good. God loves those who are virtuous, patient and thankful. To them He will bestow His contentment and give them the greatest reward - this is the supreme triumph.
