The Tigers in Your Dreams is an emotional book containing 14 short stories about adoptees searching for and contacting their birth families, and siblings in search of siblings that they may or may not have known about. This book also contains information and tips for your own search. Sandra and her Committee of eight, M. L. A. Marianne Jablonski and Minister Iris Evans, were instrumental in opening the adoption records in Alberta on January 1, 2005. There are amendments still required to allow family members to obtain information from the adoption file should the birth parents be deceased or should the adoptee be deceased. At the present time, only those involved in the adoption triangle may obtain information from the adoption files.
