"Polar bears are the charismatic icon of the Arctic environment, climate change, and global conservation. This endearing story will provide many opportunities for an educator or parent to apply additional life lessons on diversity, acceptance, working together, overcoming barriers, and so many more. I highly recommend Adventures of the Great Pink Polar Bear by Raymond G. Martin."

This story shows that even after being "made fun of", for being different, friendship can still be achieved, Sometimes it takes a life altering experience to happen in order to birth a friendship. This bear family sticks together in a moment of crisis and is an illustration of loyalty at it's best.
