We are living in a profoundly broken and troubled world. People from all walks of life are facing challenges, hardships, and heartaches. Many feel lost, lonely, and afraid. Others have given up on life altogether as evidenced by rising suicide rates. We are forced to contend with an ever-increasing economic crisis, the steady deterioration of morals and values, societal and cultural corruption, worsening violence, and devastating natural disasters around the world. Many believe, according to the apostle Paul's definition to his young protégé, Timothy, that we are living in the last days.

Yet, as the followers of Jesus Christ, we have hope! We know that there is still one thing that can bring about extraordinary change for good - in the hearts of people, our communities, nations, and the world. That one thing is the unfailing, unrivalled, life-changing love of God. Through His love for us and our love for Him in return, we become the instruments of His saving love here on earth. As we obey the two greatest commandments: to love God and love others as He loves us, we can foster real change in the lives of individuals, impact our societies, and improve the civilizations in which we live.

Living in Love: Changing Our World not only helps us understand the importance of living in God's love, it gives us the tools to put His priceless love into practice in our everyday lives.
