It could also be said that no dystopian novel happens by accident either: an author summons the real shadowy or partially hidden political forces, and the imagination gives it life. Wen Wilson is such a tale. It is the story of a writer/ activist who is caught up in America's transition from a democratic republic to a totalitarian regime. Wen Wilson is a known agitator because of his writings. The powers-that-be do not understand how he knows what he knows; they have actively suppressed his writings and banned the publication of future books. They attempt to silence him. They hound him, driving him from city to city, so he finds no rest. He stops at Dan-U Farms.
