Two-minute journeys into the heart of Jesus. My parents were not religious, but they gave me a name befitting my spiritual journey. "Johnnita" is a diminutive for John, the disciple who longed to connect with the heart of the Savior. For me, searching for God was a necessity, because life was a struggle. I needed Him to sustain me. Like an inquiring little one, I burrowed deep until I found His heart. There I discovered a marvelous, reciprocal, loving desire for me and for my children. I have been exploring that love ever since. At Christmas, when we dig into God's heart, we find that He is constantly revealing Himself in the world around us. In this little book, both mothers and children can anchor their hearts to the Savior, through the symbols of Christmas. The coloring sheets reinforce the lessons in children's hearts.
