In the last ten years, the world of work has discovered how important it is to know and manage its corporate assets. I do not simply speak of having an IT archive in which to invent the objects present in the company, but of the complete management of the life of the objects. From entering the company, up to the scrapping, passing through all its changes and following its natural life cycle. To succeed, you can not invent a method, you need to understand and put into practice the indications suggested by ITIL (explained later). Unfortunately, often people try to apply the reading in the manuals, forgetting that you do not have to adapt reality to theories, but use the "philosophy" that ITIL teaches us, adapting it to our reality. In this book we try to explain how ITIL and Configuration Management can be applied through rules, diagrams, but above all through examples based on a possible use case. I'm an IT specialist, I'm used to never reading manuals. So this writing will be a fictional manual, just to turn on the curiosity and break down the boredom, I hope it is useful. To differentiate the character I indicated in blue the interventions of the two investigators.
