"Just Get Me Broke" is a collection of exercises in haiku, dealing with love, alcoholism, the maceration of life in factory work, and a handful of observations on the human experience. Originally written and planned for publication in 2017, this collection was shelved for a handful of years, in an attempt to create distance from the subject matter. This is the original collection, despite the occasional notion to clean the imagery up, or to present the narrator in a more forgiving light.
