After the November military intervention, and the eventual resignation of the founding President, Robert Mugabe, the country, Zimbabwe found itself with a new leader by the name of Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa. Eight months down the line a crucial election awaited him. He had to win the hearts of the majority voters. He began by stabilizing the economy, engaging with the people, preaching peace, love, unity and tolerance, fighting corruption, engaging and re-engaging with other countries of the world, and creating jobs for his people.
