In a universe gutted by the hounds of ideology, war nips close on everyone's heels. For Sam, the lament of death isn't his to prevent, even though he could. For him, the recent years of his short life haven't held much more than hiding in the shadows of dark alleys, falling silent as footsteps clacked by, watching patiently as genocide unfolded.
