What is preaching? Great question. A Google search produced 4,300,000 results in response to this question. Obviously, there is a lot of interest in preaching. From Clyde Reid's book, "The Empty Pulpit," (1967), to articles fresh off today's religious journals presses, the post-preaching era is said to be upon us.
