Dan Eversmann travels all over the world, keeping people in dangerous places safe. After a mission goes bad he needs some down time, but before he gets too comfortable he gets a call from an old colleague asking for help. It's the sort of job he's done before, but the location has him puzzled. It's close to home, but with the same dangers he's battled in the farthest corners of the globe. But now he's on home turf, and in an environment where everyone must tread carefully, he's right at home.
