This book is a poetry collection dealing with feelings brought about from a detrimental relationship. A relationship that was destined to be legendary but ended up being the most depressing, self-questioning/insecure relationship this poet has ever been in. Almost everyone can relate/have dealt with what this poet has been through. With cadence, the words in these poems are structured in a pyramidal composition; while using alliteration/assonance, couplet rhyming, free verse, imagery, metaphoric ambiguity, similes and so many other literary elements that makes a poem. Inspired by her late grandmother and Maya Angelou, this poet speaks and writes her truth, her love and her pain.
