This manual was produced originally by AsiAfrica Ministries, Inc., to serve as a teaching and worship resource for the establishment of cell groups, or house churches, in rural areas of the Global South where there are no churches. The manual is designed as a "stand alone" resource for people who lack access to Christian teaching. Hence, it contains many citations of scripture for the benefit of readers who have no Bibles. The published version of this manual is essentially the same as the manual we are distributing free of charge in the Global South. While the manual was originally intended for readers whose first language is not English, we have been happy to learn that many American readers find the simple, non-technical language helpful for their understanding of the good news of Jesus Christ.
