It discusses how the books of Joshua and Judges fit into their historical settings if early dates are assumed. The lessons grow from historical and archeological data that is not often brought into the discussion of biblical events. It discusses places where biblical events are mentioned in the literature of nations around Israel. It gives solid historical evidence that the biblical record is historically correct, and applies the biblical record in ways that affect students' lives.
