This work analyzes the work of Thucydides, Jomini, Alfred Thayer Mahan and Herman Kahn in order to apply their concepts towards cyberspace strategy development. Each section analyzes applicability to offensive cyber activities, defensive cyber activities and overall strategy development. The work concludes with a table of short insights tied to each historic strategist. This work does not provide step-by-step instructions on how to develop a cyberspace strategy, it merely applies the concepts towards development of strategy informed by history.
