"When you go into battle in your own land against an enemy who is oppressing you, sound a blast on the trumpets. Then you will be remembered by the Lord your God and rescued from your enemies." (Numbers 10:9 NIV) "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." (Ephesians 6:12 NIV) " After Jesus had gone indoors, his disciples asked him privately, "Why couldn't we drive it out?" He replied, "This kind can come out only by prayer." (Mark 9:28-29 NIV) We all fight a spiritual battle. Many times we go with our own strength the victory is short lived, if we have any type of victory at all. But the victory that reaps lasting knowledge and understanding are all those fought on the knees of the warrior. It is the Lord's battle to be won, as his soldiers, we only need to listen and obey so that we can share the victories with him.
