The ego is the portion of our greater consciousness that navigates in this world. In order to function effectively, it has had to maintain a tight, up-close focus on our material world and jealously guard its existence amidst the greater spirit-oriented part of ourselves. This meant it had to rule out perceptions of other realities in which we're involved, and until now, it wasn't secure enough of its place in our greater consciousness to allow such perceptions. But is it possible that the ego has finally grown secure enough for us to perceive and participate in other realities while remaining solidly grounded in this one? In other words, can we function as sane, well-adjusted individuals in this world while consciously participating in other realities? Over forty years ago, a highly respected spirit entity channeled by Jane Roberts said that we can. The entity described how we can develop the required skills to do so and the wonderful advances we can make as a civilization. Today it is possible to rapidly develop these skills by learning how to have an out-of-body experience (OBE), how to work with our dreams, and how to start using our inner senses. One of the best places to learn how to do these things is The Monroe Institute in Faber, Virginia, where a number of people have already developed these skills to one degree or another. This book will steer you toward an easy, exciting way to develop them through the programs of one of the leading instructors in the OBE field.
