The history that you have read or heard of the first 3 Centuries after Christ has been deliberately distorted - slanted - by those who sought power over the church that Jesus established. You've read or heard about Peter, James, John and Paul and their efforts to spread the Gospel of Jesus are to be praised and lauded. But what about the rest of Jesus' Apostles? The Bible provides no history of Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, Thaddaeus, Simon and James (the son of Alphaeus). Jesus gave His Apostles this mission: "Go to the lost sheep of the House of Israel." [Matthew 10:6]The history you have read or heard is only concerned with Peter, James, John and Paul. Do you believe that the other Apostles failed to fulfill their mission? They who had seen the miracles, heard the teaching of Jesus, Himself, saw Him after Jesus rose from the dead and who were filled with the Holy Spirit? My research into this matter discovered these points vital for anyone who wishes to understand what happened to the other Apostles and the real history of the growth of the early church: The Apostles (within a few years of Jesus resurrection and ascension to the Father - as soon as 40 AD) went to the Parthian Empire, the chief rival of the Roman Empire during the 1st and second centuries AD. The "lost sheep of the House of Israel" were concentrated in the Parthian Empire. The only reliable historian of the 1st Century AD - Flavius Josephus - wrote that when the Jews left their captivity in Babylon to return to Jerusalem in 540 BC, the other Israelites ("the 10 lost tribes") remained in the area that would become the Parthian Empire in 250 BC. They were still there in the 1st Century AD - Josephus published the book in 94 AD. "but then the entire body of the people of Israel remained in that country; wherefore there are but two tribes in Asia and Europe subject to the Romans, while the ten tribes are beyond Euphrates till now, and are an immense multitude, and not to be estimated by numbers." Antiquities of the Jews, Book XI, Chapter V, 131 - 133Peter wrote his Biblical letters from Babylon, a province of the Parthian Empire [1 Peter 5:13]The research of William Steuart McBirnie "The Search for the Twelve Apostles" Tyndale House Publishers, Inc. of Carol Stream, IL 1973 found reliable proof of the presence of Andrew (Peter's brother), Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, James (the son of Alphaeus), Thaddaeus, Simon (the Zealot) in the Parthian Empire in the years 40 - 70 AD. The Old Testament is filled with the prophesy of the reconciliation of the Israelites who were taken captive in 721 BC. That prophesy was fulfilled when they heard the Gospel of Jesus from His apostles. That conversion is what caused the exponential growth of the early church. The migration of those Christian Israelites and their Gentile converts into Europe from 250 - 700 AD eventually led to their forming the basis of Western Civilization. The Hand of God formed Western Civilization for the express purpose of spreading the Gospel to the whole world. In this book I trace it all for you, from Abraham's Covenant with God to the formation of the British Empire and the United States and Western Civilization. It is my belief, and a major tenet of this book that, from the beginning, God planned and guided Abraham's descendants' movements and actions that eventually led to the establishment of Western Civilization. The history I discovered and proved from many sources is the most exciting and wonderful story I've ever heard, and God showed me how to share it with you. If you are a Christian, this book will likely strengthen your faith; if you are not a believer, it may prompt you to take another look at that way of life.
