The Secret World of a Private Eye George Brady

"This book charts the author's personal experiences whilst working as a freelance Private Investigator for many years in the South Wales and West Country of England areas before his retirement in 2008. From the time he returned from his post-Detective police officer appointment managing the security of a government hospital in Saudi Arabia to the day he had cause to interview the man convicted (and later acquitted) of the M50 murder of Marie Wilkes. It is an altogether intriguing insight into the machinations and intricacies of the work of a Private Investigator. This book gives a snapshot of how the author made the transition from police force to private eye, focusing on the cases he took on as a result. He gives a handy guide to would be detectives and emphasises the unpredictability that comes with working with the general public. This is a collection of entertaining and witty true life occurrences that will leave you wanting more." Lauren Hughes
