Pugnacious Pickle and the Bread-Machine-Time-Machine is a short chapter book for kids ages 8 to 12. When Pugnacious visits his Grandmother's farm to celebrate his tenth birthday, he is excited. Unlike living in the city, the farm provides him with unlimited sources of entertainment. Running through the pumpkin patch, playing with the animals and helping Grandma Pickle to cook and do farm chores makes life seem much less boring. He always looks forward to going to Big Pumpkin Farm, but this time, there's something even more exciting waiting for him. Grandma has a new bread machine...but there's something strange about it that Pugnacious can't quite figure out...and an adventure waiting for him that he could never have guessed at.
