In 2019, at the age of 27, Shiv was delivered the news he had feared throughout his life. He was told he had cancer, Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Throughout his life he had been a hypochondriac. Always lived in the fear that his bad lifestyle choices will bear a heavy brunt on his health. And they finally did. A valiant battle against the disease, his anxiety about health and addiction ensued. A descriptive account of his experience with the perils of cancer treatment is detailed in this book. From weight and hair loss to the discomfort of the side- effects of chemotherapy and the mental challenges that came along with them, this book describes his thoughts and the lessons he learnt along the way. After going through aggressive treatment, he went into remission and left for London in 2020 and found himself gripped in the midst of a global pandemic. Being at a high risk to a severe illness due to COVID-19, Shiv had to live under severe restrictions for large periods of time. Shiv, however, tells the story of an optimistic approach he used to fight his challenges and overcome adversity.
