Since time immemorial, healing has been with us. In fact, wherever there is life there healing is to be found. In reality, healing is the path to maximize life and existence. Healing is traditional and unconventional as well as paradoxical and simple! Healing is so traditional that it has been present in both ancient and modern societies without any exception. Shamanic and nomadic tribes had a plethora of healing remedies and contemporary societies offer multiple modes of medical healing. However, it must be kept in mind that while standardization and traditions developed around healing practices, the most radical and transformative healing episodes are wrapped in unconventional approaches. Who would have ever thought that walking and doing things backward around the house would heal flu symptoms and boost the immune system? Who would have ever thought that attending to unseen Spirits would heal a person's lack of purpose and disorientation? In addition, who would have ever thought that surrendering to the divine flow of cycles would heal the humane patterns of stagnation? As it was already presented, the most radical and transformative healing episodes come wrapped in unconventional approaches. Ultimately, healing is so paradoxical that only a heart-based experience will yield some insight as to what its true nature is. When you think that you have finally landed your hands on the mystery of healing, the entire healing process evades you and enters your life from a different angle and framework without your consent. You will never be able to control the process of healing. It is impossible. It is only by allowing the process of healing to overtake and control you that you will start to understand really how it works and what it is. It is that simple!
