Vieri Braun, Hitler's great granddaughter has the means, method and money to transform America into a third world country populated by starving masses on the coasts and new immigrants from the Middle East and Asia turning the interior into the breadbasket of a starving world. She and her father, Adolf Braun III (Drei), and her husband Rudi Steiner control a vast empire whose tentacles reach into every First World country's government, military and economy. The damage they can do to America is balanced by the opportunities they plan for sub-Saharan Africa. Utilizing small, single-engine aircraft such as the ubiquitous Piper Cub right up to modern turboprops, UAVs and quadcopter-style drones they will destroy America's largest power-generating plants, airports, municipal-water systems, port facilities for importing oil, gasoline and natural gas, selected pipelines, and oil refineries. Purely out of spite they have targeted every bridge and tunnel connecting Canada to America, the Soo Locks, Panama Canal, and assorted military bases. Certain high value structures such as New York City's Trump Tower, the UN, the bridges and subway, and Times Square; every state capitol; Washington DC's White House, Senate, House of Representatives, FBI, Pentagon, and NSA. Arrayed against this might are a small troupe, the QR Team, of not-so-super heroes: the time-traveling Yesterday Man; Junkyard Doug, the matter manipulator whose output looks good but does not work; Clara Lee, an invisible woman who has to get naked to be unseen; and Lena - a 14 year-old transgender orphan and inheritor of amazing, though limited technology, delivered to earth many years ago. Their attempts to get the authorities, specifically the FBI falter, just like the efforts of another team of rogue, former government-trained and sanctioned assassins - Walt and Sara. The book spans the globe from New England and Ybor City, to Paris, Moscow, Germany and Austria, the Middle East, China, and coastal America and its heartland.
