A Child Called Addict is a personal story involving drugs and the consequences of addiction. I am a former addict to alcohol, marijuana, and adderall. The book was written for parents with children going through addiction problems. I've casued exponential stress within my family and I aim to help other families avoid the problems I currently am going through. As addicts we lie, cheat, steal, and many other immoral acts. If you read and interpret the material inside the text I guarentee you will avoid horrific future events caused from addiction. My mother, because of my addiction, has said she doesn't love me and even taken it as far as condemning me to hell. The reasoning behind this is explained in my story within the text. Addiction is serious, this book will help you understand us, as addicts, I promise. For we have a disease inside of us that haunts us and ruins relationships with family, friends, and within the workforce.
