Abigail loves an adventure just as much as the next kid, but she is not like all the other kids. She makes the adventures a reality. With her chest of dress-up clothes, she transforms into a real-life astronaut in space. As the story unfolds, we find Abigail thrusting herself out among the stars. She blasts off into space and never wants to come back down. That is, until her mother calls her name. Then her space exploration comes to an end as she falls back to earth safely into her bed. Abigail's father is an astronaut as well, and she misses him dearly. Her mother comforts her and lets her know that he will be home very soon.
