Taking the whole family out for camping is lot of fun. As a kid, my parents took me for camping throughout the length of the Eastern Seaboard. Spending time on the huge Atlantic Ocean as well as innumerable little water bodies, and even on the St. Lawrence Seaway was great fun. Not only this, we also paid a visit to many of the states in the U. S. and provinces of Canada. My family is not that rich to afford all the luxuries but if we could go out for this exotic vacation, we owe that to camping. For all those who haven't given camping a thought, these reasons should be sufficient for you to consider it once. The sole purpose why family camping is becoming popular by the day is that it is very cheap. Camping can bring down expenses on food and lodging by a big margin. To add to it, many camping grounds provide free or cheap means of recreation and entertainment facilities. For those busy with the hectic life at home, camping is a time to relish as it brings the entire family together to spend quality time with. Most of the family holiday plans by the tourism industry offers destinations with targets the kids and parents mainly, so the entire family is barred from being close to each other. A primary reason for families to venture out together is to enjoy by burying their actual busy life for the time being, and camping is a better way to do it than most of the so-called family plans. Also, camping will generate innumerable memories in the child's mind that he will carry with him till old-age. The experience of it on account of games, adventures, etc. will help you understand yourself and your child, and besides bringing the two closer, it will give birth to memories that can be cherished for life. Location for camping with the family may either be close to the home or at a distant place, but spending quality time with the family without any modern distractions will help develop the bond of the family.
