Then the Head said he was sureothers had too. Then Wilson stood up and after a time 7 chaps stood up. Thenthe Head said it would be the worse for those who didn't stand up as he knewwho the culprets were. I hadn't eaten any but Anderson had given me a pieceoff his knife so I stood up two. The Head said we should all have two hoursextra work. He was very waxy he said we were unreliabel... Maurice Baring OBE was an English man of letters, known as a dramatist, poet, novelist, translator and essayist, and also as a travel writer and war correspondent. During World War I, Baring served in the Intelligence Corps and Royal Air Force.
