Pen-y-Ghent, The Polar Bear And The Penguin Charles Fall

This is a collection of ten short stories, set in present-day Yorkshire. Some are strange, some thoughtful, some suspenseful and disturbing. All are fictional and stem from the author's imagination, except perhaps for the tale of the polar bear meeting the penguin at the summit of Pen-y-Ghent which might well be factual. As for the banker who suddenly finds himself precariously three hundred years out of his own time, well, that's a different story.
