Although fiction proffers much of the work, Marylou Mansfield is absorbed into it all, totally. The writings have become an exposition to her as well as others. The growth is real as a military wife, mother, teacher and lover. Married to the same man she has known since seventh grade, loving is both freeing and gratifying.
