Beginning from the pure innocence and beauty of childhood; to the shock and trauma of abuse; to the comfortable, but stagnant, stage of the cocoon; to the eventual freedom of healing from abuse; to the heights of the discovery and honouring of our true sacred and beautiful selves. Taken from the traditional teachings and worldview of Indigenous people, this new look and approach to the human psyche creates new paradigms of thought that are brought to bear upon one of the harshest and widespread problems of all societies, sexual abuse. The traveler is given the tools and map to facilitate their own healing journey. They become the captain of their own ship at sea, the doctor in their own healing, as they learn to analyze their own problems and diagnose and prescribe their own remedies which they find within their beings and bring about desired healing and growth.
