Building, creating, and making physical objects seems to be a particularly strong method of seeking, receiving and learn to recognizing spiritual promptings. "Making" has been utilized through the centuries, often at God's command, and frequently by artisans, to learn to recognize spiritual promptings to guide what we make and how we go about it. I believe one of the unique things expected of humans is to learn to recognize and work with our spiritual natures while in a physical mortal form. "Making" is certainly not the only way to become more spiritual or adept at recognizing the spirit. But it has proven itself to be an especially good way of getting in touch with spiritual matters.
