Derived from life experience, dreams, and transcendental visions brought on by ritual and conscious-altering substances, these stories connected us, filled our lives with mystery and intrigue, and helped us define who we were. But ancient stories have limitations, their true meanings often lost to time and translation from one language to the next, and so it behooves us to weave new tales and spearhead our own investigations into this ground of being to discover for ourselves who we are and what it means to be alive. Now, more than ever, we need to reconnect to this eternal, archetypal, existence. The price we seem to pay for our irreverence towards it is nihilism and self-loathing, both quite common occurrences in this day and age. Let us rediscover the magic of existence so that we can rediscover the magic within ourselves. The soul of humanity depends on it.
