Their dreams and aspirations both as teenagers and young adults were drastically altered by a 30-month civil war between Nigeria and its former region that seceded to become separate country Biafra. The youngmen traversed the thickets and along the Road to Perdition; they survived the war to tell the rest of their story in Pangs & Pleasures.
