Warrior Princess is told in first person by 4-year-old Jaelyn. She explains in a simple, easy to understand way what Spina Bifida is and some of the challenges that she faces in her condition. She is upfront about how it isn't easy, and she does things differently than other children in her class. But in the end, she is just your typical preschooler.
