INSPIRATIONS: an Anthology is the sixth collection of short stories, poems, memoirs, and essays published by the Antelope Valley Writers Association (AVWA). This book showcases the talents of the many writers who live in the high desert of Southern California, an area where the artists are as unique as their native Joshua trees. Many are authors of their own published books, some just enjoy sharing their stories and poems, and all love to write. INSPIRATIONS has something for everyone: heartfelt poetry; stories that are sad, funny, heartwarming, and inspirational; and tales of fantasy, adventure, and mystery. This 2019 anthology truly reflects the diversity of California's Antelope Valley.
