On an exhausted earth, the mankind species waged war against each other that destroyed the civilized world. A period of chaos followed where arcane realms were forged, spawning new life. Species rose and fell, as the mankind survivors faded into insignificance. The last mankind champions, the Druids attempted to maintain a balance in the realms versed in magic. Witches and Daemons in league with the savage Wildpack beasts, strove to dominate and enslave all the other species.
