I, to select my favorite poem for thee Do pick a parchment sweet To get a verse for you, from me To warm your heart's my treat. The ones up high are always best Because they're near the sky Like lemon drops and all the rest They keep me smiling, why? When I try, and stretch myself Not solid on my feet When I stop and think of you My heart still skips a beat. I found some writings on the ground But they will never do I stretch myself to reach the sky Cause those are just for you.
