Love is a beautiful thing. Falling in love is sweet, good and interesting. Love can be blinded to the truth but when it is time for the truth to surface, even love can't stop it. When the heart is broken, the heart shrinks, the soul is pierced, the body grows weak and the eyes shed uncontrollable tears. Most times when such happens between human beings, the affected one settles for revenge and the revenge might so extreme to cause the death of the disloyal one. This is a fact. And if it is not death, an everlasting scar might be inflicted. If this can be true about ordinary human with flesh and blood, how much more the immortal creator that loves those He created in His image with a true and unconditional love?Has it ever come to your mind that it is possible for man to break God's heart? Has it ever flash through your mind that God is a God of love? And because He is a God of love, we can decide to love Him back or turn Him down? The God Almighty is a father and not just a father but a loving father. God is the God of love and from the ancient times, human beings have started seeing and feeling the arms stretched of his love from different perspectives. And at the same, human beings have been rejecting that same out stretch arms of the loving God. The title; "Breaking the heart of the Almighty" isn't an overstatement but a right one. And this is true about what we see around us every day and from history. We exhibit total rebellion without taking God's love into consideration. We love to satisfy ourselves than the creator, and this is disheartening. We fail to do what God really wants us to do; what we do is what we feel like doing or what we purposely want to do just to satisfy our heart desire, while we care not how God will feel concerning us. Let's observe God's love from a deep perspective and how human beings have started breaking his heart from time past till this present day.
