ELLIOTT GILBERT of Hoboken, New Jersey has written numerous children's books including Max Goes Hunting, My Cat Story, Rudy Rabbit Tried, and Just Say the Word available in www.ellgilbert.com . He also illustrated the books Mittens in May by Maxine Kumin and The Best Loved Doll by Rebecca Caudill. His education included the Brooklyn Museum Art School, Parsons School of Design, Pratt Institute, and the Art Students' League.
