Jimmy Blanco was one of the longest living survivors of the world's deadliest brain cancer and he defied the odds without traditional medicine. In 1995, he was diagnosed with a glioblastoma multiforme grade IV and given less than four months to live. From day one he rejected chemotherapy and radiation and the doctor's death sentence for him. He self-treated with natural medicine, radically altered his diet, practiced visualization and other mental focus techniques, and had a healthy faith in God.

He fought eight incredible years against the tumor that doesn't quit. Jimmy began writing a book about his journey but sadly did not finish it. Fifteen years after his death, his widow, Elizabeth, found the unfinished book he'd been writing and gave it to their daughter, Jamie.
