Grieving, Mourning, and Wailing: The Narrow Road to Songs of Redemption is a collection of poetry compiled by the author in the wake of his wife's tragic passing. Begun just after her death, these poems and meditations were born in the midnight madness and sleepless nights of solitude. The author was able to communicate by way of the written word what he was going through because he could not speak them out loud. This anthology presents an intimate and moving look at one man's journey through immense grief and spiritual uncertainty. The author invites readers to look into their past, experience key moments in their love story, and contemplate the restorative power of Gods company, even in our darkest seasons. The manuscript is focused and concise, containing a wide variety of poetry. The range of topics and specific angles that each poem explores offer something that will resonate with a broad audience. The variety in form and style between poems will keep the reader's attention, and work together so beautifully with a genuine, honest, and vulnerable human emotion that readers will be able to connect with and relate to. There is also included "Reflection lines", which the reader may use to expand upon with their own words and experiences as they work through their grieving, mourning, and wailing with the Grace of God. Richard Ceballo is a husband, father, son, and brother. A high school dropout who went on to earn his GED, Associates Degree, Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. All by the motivation and inspiration of his friend Yvette Sterling - Ceballo A singer/songwriter for The Buffalo Soldiers, founder and CEO of the 503c non-profit "Sterling Sports Foundation", which runs sports camps for the youth of Jamaica in Trench Town & Franklin Town in honor of my wife.
