God wants to shatter and destroy everything wrong in our lives to get to the real you and me and bring salvation, healing to the wounded, broken-hearted, spiritually, or emotionally bound and spiritually afflicted. I want the readers to feel, sense, and receive that from reading these poems, letters, prayers, and words of inspiration, all for the glory and honor of God. Charlene Outlaw was born and raised in the housing projects of the city of New Haven, CT by a single parent of four. Charlene was determined to aspire to greater things in life and not become a victim of the projects. She pursued education and went to Southern Connecticut State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology. Charlene met and married her husband Michael Harris soon after, and had their first child Mylene, several years later they had Michael Jr. and many years to follow their daughter Myshaylah. After 25 years, she decided once again to continue down the path of education and completed her Master's Degree from Phoenix University in Criminal Justice. Charlene from a young child on up always had a heart for God.
