After China defeats the USA with WMDs, a 3-year journey begins for Hannah, William, and Marshall. They survive the atomic holocaust, travel separately to a commune in St Paul, MN, while they and others develope strange supernatural abilities. Wintering there, Hannah chronicles the relationship problems, power plays, and differing beliefs that develop within the group of survivors, as well as past sins. Navigating the chaos of a shattered society, these three MadMen come to realize that they must journey far to walk where the ancient End Time prophets have trod.
